A young firefly, whose light flickers weakly compared to others, feels out of place in the glowing meadow. One night, as a dense fog rolls in, the other fireflies are captured by an enormous spider that uses shimmering webs to trick them. Though the young firefly feels powerless, it discovers its faint light makes it invisible to the spider. Using courage and cleverness, the firefly sneaks through the webs to rescue its friends.
